We hope that this website will be useful to obtain information about the services that this consular Office provides to foreign and Mexican nationals, and also to know the main aspects of the relationship between the United Kingdom and Mexico. Please take notice that starting November 1^st. 2008, based on Rule 2.7.10 of the General Regulations on Foreign Commerce will apply:

“Article 50, Third paragraph of the Customs Law states that: International passengers arriving by air in Mexico in transit or connexion to their final destination within the national territory or abroad, shall present to the customs authorities their baggage for inspection at the first port of arrival.  For such effects, the air companies that make international transportation of passengers, shall have the obligation to transfer the luggage to the corresponding carrousel so the passenger can claim it and proceed to the customs inspection, so they can activate the mechanism of automatized selection”
