1.- Valid passport for not less than one year from the date of application.
2.- Letter of admission from the university of school where the applicant will enroll.
3.- A bank letter attested by a notary public. of sufficient funds to support himself in Mexico, from either the student himself, his (her) parents or legal guardian.
A minimum monthly amount of $300.00 (three hundred dollars 00/100) will be required, or proof that he/she is the recipient of a scholarship.
4.- Two front view, passport-size photographs.
5.- Certificate of good health.
Those students who have received a scholarship granted by the Mexican government will submit, instead of the documents mentioned in requirement number 3, documentary proof of the scholarship being provided by the Mexican institution.
Exchange students will be required to produce a letter of support from the Mexican family with whom he/she will be residing.
Upon arrival the student should register at the Oficina del Registro Nacional de Extranjeros. Foreign students cannot engage in a profitable activity in Mexico.
A student enrolling for six months or less, may travel to Mexico on a tourist card.
Students under 18 years of age must secure from both their parents a notarized authorization to travel. |
